Fascia & Soffit

Fascia & soffit installation and repair near you

Your home's main features may be the roof, doors and windows, but it is a mistake to overlook the soffit and fascia. These components add to your home's appearance and play a significant role in protecting it from water, pests and heat.

What each one does

1

Fascia

The fascia is the visible board running along the roofline, connecting the outer walls to the roof edge. It gives the roof a neat, finished look and supports the lower edge of the bottom row of tiles or shingles. It also helps seal the roof space against moisture.

2

Soffit

Positioned under the fascia at the roof's overhang, the soffit covers the underside of the overhang. Its main job is to circulate air through the attic and roof space to prevent the rafters from rotting, while keeping out driving rain, animals and insects.

Most common soffit & fascia issues

1

Damaged or old gutters

Gutters that overflow or clog send water straight onto your soffits. Keeping them in good condition prevents that water damage entirely.

2

Structural flaws

Damage to gutters, flashing or shingles that goes unchecked means your soffits can no longer keep water out properly.

3

Pests

Some animals are known for building nests inside soffit and fascia. Installed properly, they are a strong barrier against them.

Inspections after Houston storms

Post-storm inspections matter, especially after the high winds, hail and intense heat we get along the Gulf Coast. Regular checks detect gaps and moisture penetration before they become serious. If we find storm damage, those repairs may be eligible for coverage under your homeowner's insurance — and we can help you document the claim.
