Storm damage repair in Houston
Hail and wind do most of their damage where you can't see it. A roof can look untouched from the driveway and still have lost the granules that were protecting it. We get on the roof, photograph what is actually up there, and give you the documentation either to file a claim or to stop worrying about it.

What hail actually does to a roof
Hail rarely punches a hole. It bruises the mat and knocks the granules loose, and those granules are the layer protecting the asphalt underneath from Houston's sun. A bruised roof sheds water fine for a while and then fails years early. That is why hail damage is assessed on the roof rather than from the ground, and why it is so often missed.
What we look for after a storm
Granule loss
Bare patches on the shingle and granules collecting in the gutters and at the downspout outlets — usually the first honest sign of a hail hit.
Bruising
Soft, dark circles that give slightly under a thumb. They will not leak today. They are the reason the roof will not last its rated life.
Creased and lifted shingles
Wind damage shows as a crease across the shingle or a tab that has broken its seal. Both let water under the course above at the next heavy rain.
Flashing, vents and ridge
Ridge caps, pipe jacks and metal flashing take wind first. A displaced ridge cap is a straight path into the attic and is easy to miss from below.
We document it; your carrier decides it
We photograph everything we find and put it in a written report you can hand to your adjuster, so the claim is decided on the facts rather than on a desk review. What we will not do is tell you your claim will be approved, adjust the claim for you, or act as your public adjuster — that is your insurer's call and, where it is contested, a licensed public adjuster's job. We will also tell you plainly when what we have found is ordinary wear and not worth filing on.
Nobody is going to absorb your deductible
If a contractor offers to waive, cover or eat your deductible after a storm, walk away. In Texas that is insurance fraud under the Insurance Code, and it puts the homeowner in it as well as the contractor. If the deductible is the obstacle, financing is the legal way to bridge it.
